"I am" Poem

   Hello, it's me again. You'll be seeing more things about me on this 'I am' poem.

First Stanza

I am a smart student.

I wonder about the future and what would or will happen.

I hear a voice calling my name.

I see no one, but I hear a voice.

I want to know how things will work out for me.

I am a smart student.

Second Stanza

I pretend to be in situations that might or might not happen.

I feel like a different person.

I touch whatever I see in those scenarios.

I worry about things going off the rails.

Rarely, I cry when I’ve begun to break. 

I am a smart student.

Third Stanza

I understand things won’t go the way they will.

I say that things will always get better.

I dream about my future, and what can be fixed.

I try to fix things, I’m just unmotivated.

I hope I could change.

I am a smart student.
