Musical Melodies (TM)

The reason I've made this blog about my favorite musicians and bands is because it was an assignment to me by Mr. Terry Mitchell and Ms. Patricia Hastie, of 7/8 Mt/Ts Hurumanu - Music, and because that we studied on the topic of Music. I also liked music. But not performing, though.

Food Fanatics in CIP

On CIP, Wednesday, June 5, 2019, we did a program of making lunch food that we will make and eat. This was a good day because we had fun and it was enjoyable.

    1. Who were your group mates?
My group mates were 3 Filipinos, and 2 Kiwis. they were:
     - Jay-C
     - Matt(Ryan)
     - Jaren
     - Regan
     - Rigan (absent)

    2. What were you going to make?
We were originally going to make Pork Sinigang, but moved to Elbow Macaroni Salad as it was too costly for a budget of $12. But assigned to a group of two because we lacked two members and had an improper shopping list. We then stayed on that other group's recipe, which was a Smoked Ham Sandwich with lettuce, cheese, mayo and ketchup.

    3. Where did you go shopping for the ingredients?
All students that were in 7/8 Mt and Ts, originally went to Countdown, but because of a $2 sale, we went to "Pak n' Save" because it was cheaper there and that we could get there via walking distance.

     4. When did you start the activity?
We started planning the activity a few weeks prior to Term 2, Week 2, my first week at Hornby. But we officially started the program on June 5, 2019, Term 2, Week 6.

     5. How did you manage the budget while you were shopping for ingredients?
We didn't actually need to pay with the money we had, because it was paid with a credit card. Ms. Whaea Raewyn decided she was paying for everyone's ingredients with her credit card, but we had to pay her with the $2 we all had.

      6. Why was it given to you as an assignment?
Because it was a group project given by two teachers to two classes, 7/8 Mt and Ts.

These are several photos from the same day we did the project.

D.L.O. - Mathletics

Hello, this is Andrei Montellano of 7/8 Mt by Mr. Terry Mitchell. This is merely a DLO assignment given to me in June 17, 2019. (I put this here for the fear of being sued for copyrighting my own work. It's a problem.)

       D - on computers
L - explain to someone else
          - successful more than once
          - doing something successfully you couldn't do before
      O - solid
          - useful
          - physical material
          - purpose
          - thing

Mathletics has helped me to learn:
      - Simple Geometry
      - Collecting Shapes
      - Complex Long Division, Multiplication
      - 3-D Shape Sides

...and the object or purpose of this is to help me know how many faces, edges, and vertices there are in a 3-dimensional shape.
