What I Did for This Week

All I did this week was sit in bed, play games at home. In school, I played sports during PE class. Other than that, nothing much took place in my week. I found nothing about myself or anything, and my feelings remained the same with no minor or major change to anything, so, yeah. Nothing eventful much. This is all there is.

Character Creation

What am I learning?
I am learning about how characters are created.
How does this work show my learning?
It shows my learning when I had published my work.

What am I wondering as a result of this learning?
How I can make characters that could be likeable.

Creating Characters

  Creating Characters
Other Mother
Version 1 - appears identical to the normal mother with button eyes, dresses exactly like the real mother
                - softer/rounder edges - hips, head, knees, elbows
                - clothes have basic design, no patterns, covers most of her body
Version 2 - the head and nose becomes pointer/sharper, sleeves get shorter
                - sleeves get shorter, addition of red to colour palette
                - starting to get beetle-like shape from apron
                - long, baggy pants keep idea of softness
Version 3 - all weight moved to hips, accents beetle shape of dress
                - red, black, white, more pattern, better/tighter, fit, more showing
                - getting longer and pointier - stretched neck, pointed elbows, shorter hair, pointed head and                      nose
Version 4 - scissor/twig-like, very thin
                - huge height increase - compared to oven
                - pointy head
                - high heels
                - full black outfit - red shoes
                -  little to no fat left in body, lots of skin showing
Version 5 - skinless, needlelike, no face, paperthin
                - has grown extra legs
                - looks alien - not human like
                - clothes are more like tattered rags
                - very tall
                - has become hunched over

* Gradual changes over time
 - takes more time to notice
 - looks can be deceiving
 - changes as Coraline's perception of her changes

* Start
 - colour is warm, inviting, by the end it is green, unnatural and creepy

What I did for my Wellbeing

This blog will be short, but not sweet.

What I did for my Wellbeing was read from a website called TV Tropes. It's a website that documents all of the world of fiction from topics of fictional therapists not existing or completely inefficient to educating us on not to mess with the nice people before they drop an angst nuke. There are several topics on everything that teach us on what is used with several characters and several series and shows and what tropes are used to make them iconic.

Sustainability, Again

Hello, this is a blog post for my Sustainability.

Our planet has been here for billions of years, and we have only been here for 200,000 years. We have evolved to survive in every climate and our population has grown exponentially. The rising number of humans in the planet has motivated us to find different ways of making life easier, and that is with the use of technology. Unfortunately, like every good thing in this universe, it comes at a cost.
Evidence: https://www.sealevel.info/co2_and_ch4.html

Since the First Industrial Revolution, the number of carbon has grown massively at +400 million particles. The effects of this on us and our planet were unnoticeable at first or completely ignored, but over time, the changes have gotten more and more obvious and damaging. Carbon alone has its problems, but combined with the heat of the sun and ultraviolet light rays are worse than anything else.
Resource: https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/climatescience/greenhousegases/industrialrevolution.html

With the rising carbon levels in the atmosphere, the heat from the sun gets trapped more and more, causing our planet to heat up to almost intolerable levels. Not only that, polar ice caps have also started melting, causing freshwater to flood into the sea, raising the sea level and kill hundreds of species of saltwater fish. Should this continue, our planet's temperature will increase over time and convert our home into an uninhabitable wasteland too hot for anything to survive in.
Evidence: https://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

If we want to keep everything from dying out, we should take steps to reduce the carbon levels. We should use vehicles less and use bikes more. Bikes won't get you from the South to the North Island, so consider public transportation or airplanes and boats. My example might not be enough, but you can think of more ideas and do more than what some of us could. This planet is precious and unique; we should do all what we can to keep it clean and protected.

Reflection of Term 3 (Part 1)

This is my reflection for this week. It's a bit bland, but I'm happy with what I got right now.

Movie Plot

   1. What am I learning?
I am learning how movie plots work, the key parts of a story, film and video, and how to create a proper timeline of the key plots without throwing anyone off the tracks.

   2. How does this work show my learning?
This shows my learning with how I understand the instructions and how it tested my memory, what I think it is, anyway.

   3. What am I wondering as a result of this learning?
I don't think about it much, but the result is that it has given me the improvisation on how to make a proper timeline.
